The Story
In 2021 my first relationship ended and I realized I didn't know much about the difference between LOVE and ABUSE. In my search to learn more I connected with groups of survivors and heard how common abusive relationships are. As I delved further into my research friends & family started to share their own personal experiences with intimate partner violence.
In fact, almost every woman I knew had a story.
I asked myself, if abuse is so common, why didn't I know any of this sooner?
What can I do to help others?
On Valentine's Day 2024 I posted the first chapter of That's Not Love, an informative webcomic about LOVE and ABUSE. I hope through visual storytelling I can help empower and educate others to learn more about this all too seldom mentioned topic.
